Cranes : AIDA can move parts up to 400,000 lb. (181,500 kg)

Assembly Bays : High and low bays both contribute to efficient and optimized work flow on the shop floor

Assembly Pit : There is 32 ft of clearance under the crane hook in the main assembly pit, with an additional 15 ft under a removable floor

Cranes

AIDA has several overhead cranes and configurations to move parts quickly and efficiently across our shop floor. Overhead cranes include:

• (1) 150 metric tons capacity crane
• (2) 100 U.S. tons capacity cranes : 200 U.S. tons capacity with spreader bar
• (2) 50 U.S. tons capacity cranes : 100 U.S. tons capacity with spreader bar

AIDA-America also has various jib and gantry cranes from 1 to 5 U.S. tons capacity

Assembly Bays

• Each bay is 570 ft. (174 m) long by 86 ft. (26 m) wide

• Increases under hook height for assembly of large components
• 127 ft. (39 m) long by 64 ft. (19.5 m) wide
• 16 ft. (4.8 m) deep, additional 14 ft. (4.3 m) under removable floor
