VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS The incumbent will have primary responsibility for overall operation of Production Promotions (i.e. Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Facilities Management functions). The position is concerned with guidance and direction of the functional units, planning and administrative activities necessary to achieve company goals for budget and performance. This position assists the President in formulating and implementing long, medium and short-term business plans, corporate policy, goals and objectives.

Customs Compliance: Directly and through subordinates, the incumbent maintains all import/export compliance, including documentation and classification policy and procedure.

Quality Management System (QMS): Directly and through subordinates, the incumbent insures AIDA's QMS is ISO compliant and supports best in class products and services.

EDUCATION
A Bachelors or Master's degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering is required.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 15 years' experience in the capital equipment industry in a line management capacity.

Minimum of 15 years of direct supervisory experience.

Must have demonstrated in-depth knowledge, ability and proficiency in developing and implementing short, medium, and long-range Production Promotion operating plans.

Prior experience, or exposure in the development of metal stamping presses preferred.

SUPPLY CHAIN COORDINATOR Develop, direct and implement company purchasing management processes to provide an uninterrupted supply of goods and services to support operations.

Ensure timely delivery, optimal quality and maximized investment in support of production.

Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent experience required.

Two to three years supply chain and outsourcing experience preferred. Must have five to ten years machining experience and the ability to read and understand blue prints. Ability to travel domestic or international up to 20%.

Assists in writing and negotiating complex contracts as required.

In depth knowledge of MRP-based materials control including Planning, Purchasing, and inventory.

Working knowledge of Finance and Accounting systems and procedures with ability to interface and work payment/credit supplier issues.

Working knowledge of machining, mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering concepts in order to assign and direct commodity buyers and develop a liaison between Engineering and suppliers.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes to participate in make/buy decisions and directs the purchase of outside resources.

Working knowledge of mainframe and PC-based computer systems for Purchasing, with ability to design/change as needed.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER Responsible for mechanical engineering analysis, calculation, design/documentation and production unit support as required on assigned projects. Through application of Engineering standards and the process of continuous improvement, the incumbent will provide reliable, high quality and cost effective product designs. The incumbent will develop, change and maintain accurate drawings and bills of materials of parts and assemblies, as well as develop and maintain company-engineering standards.

BSME degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Three to five years of experience in Engineering, preferable capital equipment, machine tools, automation, or stamping press design.
Proven design/analysis competency is required.
Knowledge of DFM/DFA procedures and processes, design of large fabrication, castings, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and knowledge of machining operations.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, FEA, kinematics and thermal analysis. Experience with MECHANICA or ANSYS, and Pro/engineer preferred but not required.
Knowledge of applicable OSHA, ANSI, CSA standards.
General knowledge of integrated business information systems.

CUSTOMER SERVICE ENGINEER Candidate is responsible to assist in installation and repair of equipment. Traveling required. Instruct customers on proper maintenance and repairs, perform inspections and prepare documentation, follow manufacturers' specification, and communicate and provide feedback to management to improve customer and associate satisfaction. Candidate must reside in close proximity to Alabama.

Associate Degree in a technical field or vocational degree with equivalent work experience. One to six years' experience in metal forming equipment installation and repair, mechanical drive maintenance and repair, electrical wiring and controls diagnosis and repair. General knowledge of material feeding and production line systems, rigging and millwright skills.
