Customer Service Leader (Electrical)

Maintain world class customer service and build relationships with customer base, including a positive attitude, responsive communication, equipment troubleshooting, job scheduling, and finding solutions to tough problems.

EDUCATION
A BS in Business or Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of six years of experience in the after-market service business (including dispatching Field Service Engineers for installations, warranty, breakdown, and preventative maintenance service) of electro-mechanical capital equipment.

Experience with metal forming equipment installation and repair.

Two to four years supervisory/leadership experience required.

Proven track record in Customer Service activities (first responder, balancing customer demands and company priorities, making sure the customer is ultimately satisifed and treated with respect).

Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.

CNC Machinist (3rd Shift)

Responsible for set up and operation of Ingersoll Machining Centers (MC and MH). Sets up and operates other machines as required. Troubleshoots and provides assistance to other team members as needed or required to meet departmental objectives. Provides preventative maintenance assistance as needed.

EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent. Good math skills including geometry and trigonometry.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
Three to five years experience on large, adjustable, and fixed rail machines (3.75 meters between columns) utilizing CNC control systems Fanuc, AB, etc.

Experience in machining large castings and steel weldments.

Knowledge of current cutting tools and applications.

Experience in calculating tool feeds and speeds. Able to read and implement metric prints using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).

Capable of editing part programs.

Capable of creating simple programs.

Visual acuity to read machine gauges, indicates, blueprints, and precision measuring devices.

Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes and to take appropriate actions.

Not afraid of heights.

Electrical Engineer

Responsible for electrical engineering analysis, calculation, design/documentation and production unit support as required on assigned projects. Through application of Engineering standards and the process of continuous improvement, the incumbent will provide reliable, high quality, cost effective, and safe controls for stamping presses and auxiliary equipment. Incumbent will develop, change and maintain accurate drawings and Bills of Material of parts and assemblies, as well as develop and maintain company-Engineering standards. Will maintain close relationships with the production unit to promote effective communication and ensure designs meet specifications.

EDUCATION
A BSEE degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
Three to five years of experience in Engineering design of analog and digital electrical controls, preferably capital equipment, machine tool, automation, or stamping press design.

Proficient with CAD software for preparation of electrical drawings, (Preferably AutoCAD electrical).

Working knowledge of PLC’s such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI).

Working knowledge of all applicable electrical codes including NEC, NFPA79, UL and NEC codes.

Working knowledge of components used in the machine tool industry.

Working knowledge of AC and DC motion controls.

Willing to travel domestically and internationally.

Inside Sales Support

Assist in all aspects of supporting the Customer Service Parts Manager with maintaining sales quotas, margins, spare parts, reports, and documentation to assure parts department achieves the annual budget.

EDUCATION
Four-year business degree or Associates Degree with equivalent work experience.

Three or more years’ experience in the following:

Electrical Designer/Detailer

Responsible for electrical design/documentation and production unit support, as required on assigned projects. Through application of Engineering standards and the process of continuous improvement, the candidate will provide reliable, high quality, cost effective, and safe controls for stamping presses and auxiliary equipment. The candidate will develop, change and maintain accurate drawings and Bills of Material of parts and assemblies, as well as develop and maintain company Engineering drawing standards. Maintains close relationships with the production unit to promote effective communication and ensures designs meet specifications.

EDUCATION
Two-year Engineering Associates degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
One to five years of experience designing analog and digital electrical controls in the machine tool industry, preferably for metal stamping presses.

Minimum 1-year experience and demonstrated proficiency with CAD software for preparation of electrical drawings (preferably AutoCAD Electrical).

Working knowledge of PLC's, such as Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, and Operator Interface Terminals (OITs).

Working knowledge of all electrical codes including NEC, NFPA79, UL, VDE, and CE.

Installation Supervisor - Electrical

Supervise and direct Electrical Assemblers, riggers, subcontractors, and auxiliary equipment installers during the installation of complex knockdown presses. Prior to installation, the Installation Supervisor will be primarily involved in the manufacture and assembly of the machine at the Dayton facility. Familiarity with the machine during the production process will help ensure a smoother installation.

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent work experience.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
Advanced knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems with an emphasis on electrical content.

Excellent communication skills with proven leadership abilities.

Seven to ten years of related, practical work experience. Two plus years of supervisory experience.

Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in the installation of metal stamping presses and auxiliary equipment while also assuring that the project stays on schedule and under or at budget.

Knowledgeable about the operation and functionality of metal stamping controls and how they integrate with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, PLC programming and reading ladder logic diagrams.

Ability to set-up presses in a manner that assures that the machine meets AIDA-America accuracy standards.

Conduct customer training on the press and auxiliary equipment either at the press or in a classroom environment.

Ensure that the total experience for the customer is completely positive and that they are comfortable with the performance and precision of their new AIDA product (including peripheral equipment)

Work closely with the customer to assure the project is on schedule and that all responsible parties are meeting their deadlines.

Project Manager - After Market Solutions (AMS)

Lead and manage the execution of assigned equipment upgrade and retrofit. Coordinate the efforts of all departments and outside suppliers involved in fulfilling the order to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. Assist with inside sales activities.

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Project Management, Business, or Engineering (or related field). Project Management Certification is a plus.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
Four to five years of Project Management, Electrical Engineering, or Sales experience in the metal stamping or capital equipment industry.

In-depth knowledge of industry applications and requirements involving capital equipment. Experience regarding presses, feed lines, tooling, die change equipment, electrical controls and conveying equipment is a plus.

General knowledge of capital equipment rigging and installation requirements.

Ability to travel 20% of the time.

General knowledge of capital equipment rigging and installation requirements.

Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

General knowledge of planning, budget control, and pricing required for complete capital equipment upgrades, retrofits, and equipment relocations.

General knowledge of PC hardware and software skills used in preparing professional communications for customers. Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project. Some understanding and use of AutoCAD is a plus.

Ability to read and comprehend mechanical and electrical drawings.

Good understanding and knowledge of press control systems.

Electrical Assembler

Performs the electrical assembly of components to production machinery. This includes modifying existing customer products and building new products to customer specifications.

EDUCATION
Associate’s degree from a trade school, community college or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
Three plus years capital equipment experience.

Extensive knowledge of electrical components, schematics and symbols.

Ability to use electrical testing and diagnostic equipment, along with all hand tools and power tools associated with electrical assembly.

Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, bend to the floor and lift up to 60 pounds, without difficulty.

Some ladder climbing.

Periodically required to work at heights of 15 to 20 feet for machine wiring, assembly or trouble shooting purposes.

Visual acuity for reading machine dial gauges, electrical diagrams, blueprints and precision measuring instruments.

Auditory acuity to monitor machine sound changes in order to diagnose and remedy equipment problems.

Ability to consider alternatives and make decisions.

Occasional travel to customer sites for initial installation.

Ability to work effectively as part of a work team.

Good interpersonal and oral communications skills.

Customer Service Engineer

Candidate is responsible to assist in installation and repair of equipment. Traveling required. Instruct customers on proper maintenance and repairs, perform inspections and prepare documentation, follow manufacturers' specification, and communicate and provide feedback to management to improve customer and associate satisfaction.

EDUCATION
Associate Degree in a technical field or vocational degree with equivalent work experience.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
One to six years' experience in metal forming equipment installation and repair, mechanical drive maintenance and repair, electrical wiring and controls diagnosis and repair.

General knowledge of material feeding and production line systems, rigging and millwright skills.
