Installation Supervisor (Electrical)

Provide supervision and direction to electrical assemblers, riggers, subcontractors and auxiliary equipment installers during the installation of complex knockdown presses. Prior to installation, the incumbent will be primarily involved in the manufacture and assembly of the machine at the Dayton facility. Familiarly with the machine during the production process will help ensure a smoother installation. This position requires having an advanced knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems with an emphasis on electrical content. This position also requires excellent communication skills with proven leadership abilities.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent in work experience.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
Seven to ten (7-10) years of related, practical work experience. Two (2) plus years of supervisory experience.

Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in the installation of metal stamping presses and auxiliary equipment while also assuring that the project stays on schedule and under or at budget.

Knowledgeable about the operation and functionality of metal stamping controls and how they integrate with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, PLC programming and reading ladder logic diagrams.

Ability to set-up presses in a manner that assures that the machine meets AIDA-America accuracy standards.

Conduct customer training on the press and auxiliary equipment either at the press or in a classroom environment. Ensure that the total experience for the customer is completely positive and that they are comfortable with the performance and precision of their new AIDA product (including peripheral equipment).

Project schedules - work closely with the customer to assure the project is on schedule and all responsible parties are meeting their deadlines.

Prior to installation, the Installation Supervisor will be primarily involved in the manufacture and assembly of the machine at the Dayton facility. Familiarity with the machine during the production process will help ensure a smoother installation.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in engineering / technology or equivalent work experience.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
Seven to ten years of related, practical work experience. Two plus years of supervisory experience.

Senior Materials Planner

Coordinates the purchasing, scheduling, and inventory management of all assembly-related parts and materials required for production. Interfaces with engineering and factory floor employees on projects and problems, resolves receiving and inventory discrepancies, and assists with special internal projects.

EDUCATION
High school diploma required. Associates degree from a trade school, community college, or equivalent preferred.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5 or more years of planning and production scheduling in a manufacturing environment required.

In-depth knowledge of principles and techniques of production and inventory management.

Working knowledge of purchasing and planning principles and procedures, bills of material, MRP, and general blueprint reading knowledge.

Excellent PC-related software skills, including MRP and factory floor scheduling systems. Good with Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project. Experience with SAP software a plus.

Familiarity with manufacturing factory floor activities, including machining and assembly.

Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.

Team player with good business and performance ethics.

Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

Familiarity with TQM and JIT philosophies.

Customer Service Engineer

Candidate is responsible to assist in installation and repair of equipment. Traveling required. Instruct customers on proper maintenance and repairs, perform inspections and prepare documentation, follow manufacturers' specification, and communicate and provide feedback to management to improve customer and associate satisfaction.

EDUCATION
Associate Degree in a technical field or vocational degree with equivalent work experience.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
One to six years' experience in metal forming equipment installation and repair, mechanical drive maintenance and repair, electrical wiring, and controls diagnosis and repair.

General knowledge of material feeding and production line systems, rigging, and millwright skills.
