Facilities / Electromechanical Technician

Perform installation, troubleshooting, and emergency repair of CNC machine tools, forklift trucks, cranes, and other critical factory equipment. Conducts preventative maintenance on all factory equipment and vehicles.

EDUCATION
Two years college or related trade school education as Electrical Technician or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
Minimum five years industrial or production related repair and troubleshooting of electrical, CNC, DNC, and mechanical equipment.

Experience working independently in high-pressure environments.

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, repair manuals, and independently repair machines or build repair parts.

Ability to test, set, and/or adjust controls for proper operation ofCNC equipment.

In addition to electrical trouble shooting and repair skills, must have experience in three or more of the following areas: welding, crane, air compressor, forklift maintenance, large motor troubleshooting, HVAC, or plumbing.

Ability to travel 5%.

Shipping / Receiving Clerk

Responsible for loading and unloading trucks, shipping and receiving production items, parts and service tools, building crates, packing and boxing parts, moving parts internally as required, and processing shipping, receiving, and inventory through carrier and internal computer systems. Also provide assistance to the Traffic Coordinator.

EDUCATION
High School degree required. Advanced education from a vocational or trade school is preferred.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of five years’ experience in a manufacturing or warehouse position, one year experience in transportation.

Operation of cranes, 10-ton minimum.

In-depth experience in forklift operations.

Experience with hand tools and power saws.

Experience in shipping, receiving and transportation, domestic and international.

Data entry and document processing experience.

Must be able to stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, bend to the floor, and lift up to 60 pounds without difficulty.

Subject to frequent overtime requirements, changes in job duties and assignments (often without much notice), constant and frequent deadline pressures. Ability to consider alternatives and make decisions. Capability of mastering SAP and carrier-related software.

Project Manager

Lead and manage the execution of assigned press orders. Coordinate the efforts of all departments and outside suppliers involved in fulfilling the order to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. Assist in achieving company profit goals.

EDUCATION
A Bachelor Degree (or higher) in Project Management, Business, or Engineering (or related field). Project Management Certification is a plus.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
Four to five years of project management, applications engineering, or sales experience in the metal stamping or capital equipment industry.

In-depth knowledge of industry applications and requirements involving capital equipment. Experience regarding presses, feed lines, tooling, die change equipment, electrical controls, and conveying equipment is a plus.

General knowledge of capital equipment rigging and installation requirements.

Ability to travel 20% of the time.

General knowledge of planning, budget control, and pricing required for complete capital equipment installations.

Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

General knowledge of PC hardware and software skills used in preparing professional communications for customers. Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project. Some understanding and use of AutoCAD is a plus.

Translator / Interpreter

Provide linguistic and administrative support to the Customer Service department. Interpret meetings and conversations, translate e-mails, and support the Office Administrator with other administrative tasks.

EDUCATION
High school degree required, with Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in English, Japanese, business or related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
Must speak and write fluent English and Japanese.

Two to five years’ experience translating and/or interpreting in a professional context. Ability to consecutively interpret one-on-one conversations is a must. Ability to simultaneously interpret is a plus, but not required. One to five years of experience in an office environment, preferably in a growing or large volume business. Three to five years of experience in word processing and spreadsheet software.

Prior experience in Manufacturing and/or field service industry is a plus, but not required.

Provide interpreting and translation for the Service Department which includes, but is not limited to, internal and external e-mails, internal meetings, telephone calls, and limited interpreting at customer sites. Estimated 70% e-mail and document translation to 30% internal meeting and conversation interpretation.

Support the Service Office Administrator as needed to process time sheets, work orders, purchase reqs, and install base updates in SAP. Support triage of incoming customer calls as a back up to the Office Administrator, as needed.

Assist Japanese staff and their families with language needs that are non-work related, including, but not limited to: doctor/dentist visits, associate’s spouse and children, school visits, utility and insurance payments, banking, driver’s licenses, personal auto maintenance, assisting AE staff with hotel and travel arrangements, etc.

Maintain AE and AEM warranty claim spreadsheets and share with AE/AEM on a regular basis. Obtain monthly updates from AC and ADM as needed.

Installation Supervisor (Mechanical)

Provide supervision and direction to mechanical assemblers, piping assemblers, riggers, subcontractors, and auxiliary equipment installers during the installation of complex knockdown presses. Prior to installation, the Installation Supervisor will be primarily involved in the manufacture and assembly of the machine at the Dayton facility. Familiarity with the machine during the production process will help ensure a smoother installation.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in engineering / technology or equivalent work experience.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
Seven to ten years of related, practical work experience. Two plus years of supervisory experience.

Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in the installation of metal stamping presses and auxiliary equipment while also assuring that the project stays on schedule and under or at budget.

Knowledgeable about the operation and functionality of metal stamping controls and how they integrate with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, PLC programming and reading ladder logic diagrams.

Ability to set-up presses in a manner that assures that the machine meets AIDA-America accuracy standards.

Conduct customer training on the press and auxiliary equipment either at the press or in a classroom environment. Ensure that the total experience for the customer is completely positive and that they are comfortable with the performance and precision of their new AIDA product (including peripheral equipment).

Advanced knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems with an emphasis on mechanical content required.

Must possess excellent communication skills with proven leadership abilities.

Mechanical Assembler

Perform the assembly and disassembly of product machinery. Includes modifying existing customer products and building new products to customer specifications.

EDUCATION
Associate's degree from a trade school, community college, or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
Five plus years of capital equipment experience.

Ability and knowledge to use hand and power tools, able to use large assembly drawings, familiar with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.

Thorough understanding of assembly processes to include pneumatics, hydraulics, basic electrical assembly, torque setting equipment, alignment levels, and lasers.

Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment to include lathes, mills, surface grinders, polishers, and welding equipment. Should have above-average experience with use of fork trucks and overhead cranes.

Must be able to stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, bend to the floor, and lift up to 60 pounds without difficulty. Operate large machines and physical exposure from moving equipment and machine parts, periodically laying prone under machinery or on knees for completion of plumbing and mechanical tasks. Some ladder climbing.

Visual acuity for reading machine dial gauges, electrical diagrams, blueprints, and precision measuring instructions is important.

Auditory acuity to monitor machine sound changes in order to diagnose and remedy equipment problems.

Senior Materials Planner

Coordinates the purchasing, scheduling, and inventory management of all assembly-related parts and materials required for production. Interfaces with engineering and factory floor employees on projects and problems, resolves receiving and inventory discrepancies, and assists with special internal projects.

EDUCATION
High school diploma required. Associate's degree from a trade school, community college, or equivalent preferred.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5 or more years of planning and production scheduling in a manufacturing environment required.

In-depth knowledge of principles and techniques of production and inventory management.

Working knowledge of purchasing and planning principles and procedures, bills of material, MRP, and general blueprint reading knowledge.

Excellent PC-related software skills including MRP and factory floor scheduling systems. Good with Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project. Experience with SAP software a plus.

Familiarity with manufacturing factory floor activities including machining and assembly.

Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.

Customer Service Engineer

Candidate is responsible to assist in installation and repair of equipment. Traveling required. Instruct customers on proper maintenance and repairs, perform inspections and prepare documentation, follow manufacturers' specification, and communicate and provide feedback to management to improve customer and associate satisfaction.

EDUCATION
Associate Degree in a technical field or vocational degree with equivalent work experience.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
One to six years' experience in metal forming equipment installation and repair, mechanical drive maintenance and repair, electrical wiring and controls diagnosis and repair.

General knowledge of material feeding and production line systems, rigging and millwright skills.
