Mechanical Engineer

Responsible for mechanical engineering analysis, calculation, design/ documentation and production unit support as required on assigned metal stamping press and sub assembly design projects.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
Mechanical Engineer – Responsible for mechanical engineering analysis, calculation, design/ documentation and production unit support as required on assigned metal stamping press and sub assembly design projects. Through application of engineering standards, finite element analysis and the process of continuous improvement, the employee will provide reliable, high quality and cost effective stamping press designs in 2D and 3D and will develop, change and maintain accurate drawings and bills of materials of parts and assemblies in SAP, as well as develop and maintain company-engineering standards. The employee will maintain close relationships with the production unit to promote effective communication and ensure designs meet. 7660 Center Point 70 Blvd., Dayton, OH 45424. Requires Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 1 year of experience in the job offered or in the design of metal stamping presses and press assemblies. Experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA); Bill of material processing in SAP; and 2D and 3D Computer Aided Design. Position based in Dayton, OH with 10 work from home days a year allowed.
