Quality Engineer - Supplier/Manufacturing Will work jointly with Purchasing to evaluate and select suppliers based on their ability to supply product in accordance with the organization's requirements. Develop and document criteria for selection, evaluation and re-evaluation. Monitor on-going supplier performance, work with Purchasing to optimize the number of suppliers, and, when necessary, take the lead in removing a non-compliant supplier from the active supplier list.
Pro-actively establish relationships with suppliers to promote and facilitate communications with the aim of mutually improving the effectiveness of processes that create value. Interface between the suppliers, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing and/or Quality, to resolve issues related to supplier deviation requests and disseminate information accordingly.
EDUCATION
Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.

REQUIREMENTS
Five or more years cost reduction experience in large capital equipment manufacturing required. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes of large welded steel parts, castings, forged steel parts, gearing and machining. In-depth knowledge of blue print reading and GD&T. In-depth knowledge of inspection processes. Knowledge of business & contract law principles, finance principles, purchasing principles and procedures.
Excellent PC related software skills including Purchasing systems (MRP/ERP), applicable spreadsheets and word processing.
Familiarly with 3 dimensional solid modeling CAD systems, such as Pro/Engineer.
Ability to work evenings or weekends to meet operation requirements. Potential of up to 50% travel.

CNC MACHINIST Responsible for set-up and operation of Ingersoll Machining Centers. Set-ups and operates other machines as required. Troubleshoots and provides assistance to other team members as needed or required to meet departmental objectives.
Provides preventative maintenance assistance as needed.

EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent. Good math skills including geometry and trigonometry.

REQUIREMENTS
Three to five years' experience on large, adjustable and fixed rail machines utilizing CNC control systems such as Fanuc, AB, etc.
Ingersoll experience preferred.
Experience in machining large castings and steel weldments.
Knowledge in calculating tool feeds and speeds. Able to read and implement metric prints using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
Capable of editing part programs.
Capable of creating simple programs.
Not afraid of heights.

PROJECT ENGINEER Performs project coordination, technical design and customer interaction on assigned division projects from proposal sign off to run off sign off. Plans and maintains project schedules to assure on-time complete deliveries within budget.

EDUCATION
Bachelor Degree in Project Management, Business, or Engineering (or related field). Project Management Certification is a plus.

REQUIREMENTS
Four to five years of Project Management, Electrical Engineering, or Sales experience in metal stamping or captial equipment industry.
Provides proposal advice to AMS Manager.
Establish and issue project schedule(s).
Ability to travel 20% of the time.
Report critical project dates; primary invoice timing - origination for progress payments.

CUSTOMER SERVICE ENGINEER Candidate is responsible to assist in installation and repair of equipment. Traveling required. Instruct customers on proper maintenance and repairs, perform inspections and prepare documentation, follow manufacturers' specification, and communicate and provide feedback to management to improve customer and associate satisfaction. Candidate must reside in close proximity to Alabama.

Associate Degree in a technical field or vocational degree with equivalent work experience. One to six years' experience in metal forming equipment installation and repair, mechanical drive maintenance and repair, electrical wiring and controls diagnosis and repair. General knowledge of material feeding and production line systems, rigging and millwright skills.

Our ideal candidate will be enrolled in an engineering discipline pursuing their Associates degree in one the following areas:
